Marguerite received her Master’s degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine (M.Ac.O.M.) at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM), previously SIOM, where she learned various styles of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Licensed as an acupuncturist by the State of Washington and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) since 2000, she is in private practice in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle.

Marguerite continues to pursue advanced training in acupuncture and palpation, Chinese herbal medicine, tui na (Chinese orthopedic massage), gynecology, dermatology, and medical Chinese. She holds a certificate in postgraduate studies from the Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanchang, China, after clinical study in the Jiangxi Hospital.

She has studied palpation in acupuncture with Dan Bensky and also with the late Chip Chace. Since 2007, she has been teaching palpation in the practice of acupuncture through Engaging Vitality as a Continuing Education course to acupuncture practitioners as well as to current acupuncture students at SIEAM. She also completed three years of osteopathic manual training at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Vancouver, BC.

Marguerite teaches and supervises future acupuncturists at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM).
